(Above) This would have been in the early 1900s. The 2 main terraces of cottages are still single storey dwellings. The lady on the right is standing in front of where the "Rifle Range" would later be built.

(Below) Same view and perhaps no later than early 1920s. The buildings have risen up. The Church and the Bell's "Setch"  pub sign are unchanged and the Rifle Range still unbuilt although the old gateway has been closed up.
