These photos show the inside and outside of Hillington stores in the 1960s which were on the opposite side of the road from the present stores and petrol filling station.The one of the old BP petrol pumps shows Jackie and Paul Cottrell in 1965. The one inside shows their mother Ann and grandmother Mrs L Hardy, who ran the shop with her husband Walter Hardy. The little girl on the left is the children's cousin, Phillipa.
