HILLINGTON - ANMER ROAD (1) 

(Above) Looking east along Anmer Road. A scene from the 1920s/1930s which at first may seem almost identical to the present day. But those telegraph poles are now a rarity. And the war memorial looks so much more impressive without the high hedge.
